Mechanical Tire Pressure Gauge
The mechanical tire pressure gauges include heavy duty dial type pressure monitors as well the slim
pencil type air pressure guages.
A mechanical tire pressure gauge like the name suggests works on mechanical principle. Inside the
guage there is piston on which the scale is fixed and this piston is held by a spring which is slightly
pre-compressed. When the tire pressure guge is connected to the valve of the tire, the compressed air will flow
into the guage and push the piston up. Since the piston is pushed down by a special spring the travel of the piston
will be directly promortional to the air pressure inside your car tire. More the air pressure, farther the piston
moves and thus higher will be the air pressure reading. This is the basic working principle of a mechanical tire
pressure gauge.
Now let's see the various types of mechanical tire gauges available to measure the air pressure.
Pen/Pencil type Tire Pressure Guages
These are the simplest type of air pressure gauges. They are small in size, easy to carry and cheaper compared
to the digital tire pressure gauges. Yet these devices are pretty
accurate for normal use.
Dial Type Ture Pressure Gauge
These are bit complex than the simple pen type mechanical tire pressure gauges. Most of the heavy duty tire
pressure gauges are dial type.
- Accu Gage Tire Pressure Gauge
Accu gage tire pressure gauges are well known for its quality. Here you can a see a wide variety of precision gauges to masure tire air pressure.
- Moroso 89560 Tire Pressure Gauge
Moroso tire pressure gauges to keep your tire inflated at the right condition. See various gauges including Moroso 89560 tire gague and chose the right one for your use.
- Pencil Tire Pressure Gauge for Low Pressure
